Here is another advice to young dancers out there from Danielle Stone, an ex-professional dancer and a founder of en-Core Pilates ( https://www.facebook.com/EnCorePilatesStudio) in Victoria.

*** "Don't take life too seriously!"
Becoming a dancer/ballerina is a very strict, hard-working, self-deprecating career & as much as it's also an incredible job to have, it is also extremely demanding, not only on your bodies but mentally as well. Try to not take things to heart too much, get ready to accept rejection like it's going out of fashion & always be yourself!!! There is so much competitiveness, bitchiness & unfairness in the wonderful, yet crazy world of dance, that you have to be pretty damn strong to put up with it all!!! I am a much stronger person today after going through what I did with regard to my knee, living in a foreign Country & getting walked over a lot. If you're a nice, genuine person this will continue to happen through your lives, but best to be real & kind-hearted I say!

Last advice is coming up shortly! catch you guys there...
